Bieszczady od zawsze były ucieczką grzeszników. Jedni pękali po kilku miesiącach i uciekali stąd, inni wegetowali latami nie mając do kogo i po co wracać. Ci najbardziej niepokorni z popapranymi życiorysami tworzyli legendy „ bieszczadzkich zakapiorów”, inni znaleźli lepsze bycie gdzieś w poszukiwaniu choćby kawałka chleba, czy spożycia gorzałki. Odnajdywali w sobie dusze niezwykłych artystów rzeźbiąc choćby w kawałku drewna. Tutaj rodziły się bieszczadzkie pieśni, to tutaj rok rocznie odbywają się festiwale muzyczne, inscenizacje porywania pociągu jak na westernie, tutaj zaglądaj miłośnicy samotności, artyści.
Dla zwolenników mniej aktywnego wypoczynku polecamy okolice bieszczadzkiego morza, czyli jezioro Solińskie.
Solina -miejscowość letniskowa, w latach 1960-68 wybudowano na Sanie zaporę o długości 644 m. Elektrownia wodna jest udostępniana do zwiedzania( tylko w grupach, wcześniej rezerwacja telefoniczna). W okresie od maja do października kursują statki spacerowe.
Okolice Krosna:
Powiat krośnieński, to sprzyjające mu górskie krajobrazy, obszary leśne, rzadkie okazy flory i fauny, zdrowy klimat i zasoby leczniczych wód mineralnych (uzdrowisko Iwonicz Zdrój i Rymanów Zdrój). Na terenie znajdują się dwa parki narodowe, dwa parki krajobrazowe, dwa obszary chronionego krajobrazu oraz siedem rezerwatów przyrody.
Innym skarbem tych okolic są zabytki dziedzictwa kulturowego, do szczególnie polecanych należą: Muzeum Skansen Przemysłu Naftowego w Bóbrce, Muzeum Kultury Łemkowskiej w Zyndranowej, Muzeum Lamp Naftowych w Krośnie, Muzeum Marii Konopnickiej w Żarnowcu. Spotkać tutaj można liczne zabytki architektury sakralnej i świeckiej ( w Komborni, Dukli, Iwoniczu). Ruiny zamku „Kaminiec” w Odrzykoniu, w którym Aleksander Fredro osadził akcję „Zemsty”, to pozostałość po XIV w. warowni największej w południowo-wschodniej Polsce.
Zapraszamy do zwiedzania powyższych krośnieńskich klimatów.
W ramach krośnieńskich odwiedzin proponujemy dodatkowy odpoczynek wraz ze zwiedzaniem naszych okolic:
– Zamek w Odrzykoniu, ścieżka dydaktyczno przyrodnicza wraz z noclegiem: „Pod skalami” gosp. Agroturystyczne, (osobne pokoje, łazienka dla gości, ognisko, jazda konna), dom drewniany,
– Iwonicz Zdrój, miejsce zasobów leczniczych wód mineralnych: gospodarstwo agroturystyczne (osobne pokoje, stadnina konna ok. 5 km, las w pobliżu, gril, ).
– Rymanów Zdrój, miejsce zasobów leczniczych wód mineralnych: gosp. agrot.” Pod srebrnym świerkiem”(całodzienne wyżywienie, las, kąpielisko ok. 1 km, korty tenisowe ok. 1km, )
– Klimkówka, kompleks konferencyjno-wypoczynkowy Dwór Ostoia to stylowe i romantyczne miejsce, doskonałe na wypoczynek lub okolicznościową imprezę. Organizujemy wesela, komunie, chrzciny oraz inne imprezy o charakterze rodzinnym, towarzyskim lub firmowym. W parku znajdują się: dwa stawy oraz okalająca je rzeka z wodnymi kaskadami (miejsce to jest jednym z najładniejszych zakątków w dworskim parku, a romantyczna wyspa z pomostem to doskonały plener zdjęciowy dla Młodej Pary i nie tylko), zadaszony grill dla 80 osób, 2 km ścieżek spacerowych i rowerowych, liczne altanki, kort tenisowy, boisko do siatkówki, plac zabaw dla dzieci, wybieg dla koni (jazda konna, kuligi, bryczka), strzelnica do łuków sportowych. Położenie obiektu gwarantuje możliwość organizowania wycieczek bliższych i dalszych w przepiękne i atrakcyjne okolice: Krosno 12 km, uzdrowiska Iwonicz Zdrój i Rymanów Zdrój 5 km, skansen w Sanoku 30 km, muzeum naftowe w Bóbrce 15 km, pustelnia św. Jana z Dukli 20 km, rezerwat przyrody Prządki i zamek średniowieczny Kamieniec koło Krosna, szlak architektury drewnianej, wyciągi narciarskie 5 km, 15 km. Dwór Ostoia znajduje się przy drodze w Bieszczady (50 km), na trasie Krosno-Sanok.
